Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	All of them. I consider Piccolo to be within the "fighting retreat" spectrum against the Cell Jrs. Initial Perfect Cell could give him a difficult fight, but my personal projections have Piccolo triumphing.

In order for that to work his ki would have to be just under Ultra super Saiyan Trunks or approaching it. So he clears until he gets to the last two and give Trunks a good fight but lose (but then again he could win with the remaining factors he has under his belt such as superior speed, skills etc. Then in that case he get clobbered by Cell).

Piccolo should definitely be able to beat Trunks if he's at least near Grade II Vegeta's power. He may be much stronger, but he's also much slower. I don't see Trunks being able to land a hit.
